Evidence-Based Practice Project Submissions

Abstracts of translational research, evidence-based clinical and service projects, and leadership initiatives that demonstrate a direct link to the Convention theme Give Back to Move Forward are invited.

Have you been involved in a successful project to improve patient outcomes? The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International invites submission of successful evidence-based practice projects. We are looking for projects that integrate the current best evidence with clinical expertise to guide practice as well as projects where nursing evidence has been used to solve a problem and gain better patient outcomes.

In all categories, we welcome submissions related to genetics/genomics.

Selection Criteria

Submissions will be rated on the following:
  • Practice problems
  • Type of evidence used and synthesized
  • Improvement implementation strategy
  • Evaluation method
  • Outcomes/results

  • Abstract (300 words in length).
