WORKSHOP: Conducting an Evidence-Based Practice Project
Learning Objective #1: Describe challenges and strategies for success in EBP projects.
Learning Objective #2: Apply an EBP model and accompanying tools to answer a practice question.
This workshop session will provide participants with experience in using the Johns Hopkins Nursing Evidence-Based Practice Model and tools to conduct a clinical EBP project. The session includes an introduction to evidence-based practice, discusses challenges in implementing EBP, and suggests strategies for creating an evidence-based culture. Techniques for searching and rating evidence will be reviewed.
