Abstracts of translational research that demonstrate a direct link to the Congress theme Global Diversity through Research, Education and Evidence-Based Practice are invited.
Evidence-Based Practice Sessions provide the opportunity for nurses to showcase strategies, techniques and models for implementing evidence-based practice.

Selection Criteria
Submissions will be rated on the following:
- Overall Quality
- Contribution to Scholarship
- Scope and significance of project are clearly expressed
- Objectives of the project are clearly expressed
- Literature search demonstrates rigor including search terms, available resources and databases
- Evidence evaluation and/or synthesis is linked to the practice change/innovation
- Project evaluation process reflects valid and reliable methods and outcome measures are clearly expressed
- Findings have clear implications for nursing science, patient outcomes, nursing practice, education, administration, leadership, and/or policy making
- Project demonstrates a high level of scholarship
- Impact of the Abstract
- Relevance to STTI’s mission, vision, and values
- Content supports convention themes and objectives
- Content is innovative and original

Oral/Poster Presentation
Abstract (300 words in length).
Symposium (75 minutes)
For symposia submissions, please adhere to word limitations identified in symposium instructions.
Individual abstracts must contain no more than 300 words.
