Outcomes Achieved and Barriers Encountered by EBP Mentors

Objectives: 1. Describe how EBP Mentors have experienced their roles in the current healthcare environment. 2. Discuss EBP mentor-identified barriers and possible solutions to implementing the EBP Mentor role.

EBP Mentors were surveyed and data will be reported about what their roles look like, what successes and challenges they have experienced in implementing their roles, and solutions they have found successful.   The session will culminate in the EBP Mentors’ suggestions for how to engage an uncertain healthcare environment while implementing the unique role of EBP Mentor.
