G 09 SPECIAL SESSION: Staying Connected Through Social Media

Description/Overview: Staying connected with members is always a challenge for chapters. During this session, chapters will receive tips and suggestions on how they can utilize social networking technologies to further engage their members.
Learner Objective #1: Participants will receive a general overview of the most popular social networking sites and what they offer; including Facebook, LinkedIn and the use of blogs.
Learner Objective #2: Participants will learn about the benefits of having a social networking platform in place to increase member participation and retention.
