Learning Objective 1: Draw conclusions about EBP in nursing practice particularly in Saudi Arabia.

Learning Objective 2: Synthesize the consequences of using the EBP in nursing.

Evidence-based practice is essential for advancement of nursing professionalism. In order to see the evidence-based practice in the realities we need to assess the factors that facilitate and enhance the application of evidence-based practice.  In the other hand, we have to investigate the barriers of evidence-based practice, understand that barriers, and override that barrier with best evidence-based approaches.  This paper came to shed a light in the evidence-based practice barriers in Saudi Arabia and provide recommendations to override the obstacles to have a safe nursing practice environment that provide evidence-based practice.
