While many DNP programs may have a single course in EBP or change, this session will describe the ASU evidence-based DNP program that prepares graduates to make sustainable differences in practice by weaving the EBP paradigm throughout the DNP curriculum. The integration of EBP in systems and innovation courses as well as provision of core EBP courses will be discussed. In addition, the critical role of Faculty Mentors who promote students' understanding EBP, systems thinking, and innovation to demonstrate DNP essentials and competencies will be highlighted. The program’s focus on developing leaders and change specialists who mentor other health professionals in the EBP process and promote the EBP paradigm in daily practice will be a key thread of the presentation.
