Clinical Sessions

Abstracts of translational research, evidence-based clinical and service projects, and leadership initiatives that demonstrate a direct link to the Convention theme Give Back to Move Forward are invited.

Showcase your innovative professional accomplishments with colleagues from around the world at the 42nd Biennial Convention (16 November - 20 November 2013). Clinical Sessions are designed to provide opportunities to present original symposia, oral presentations or poster presentations.

  • Collaborative Partnership Models
  • Disaster Nursing
  • Health Promotion/Disease Prevention
  • Technology in Practice

In all categories, we welcome submissions related to genetics/genomics.

Selection Criteria

Submissions will be rated on the following:
  • Significance to nursing practice, education, administration and/or policy making
  • Clarity of description
  • Creativity of presentation format
  • Scholarly merit
  • Cohesive symposium plan (symposia only)

Oral/Poster Presentation

  • Abstract (300 words in length).

    Symposium (75 minutes)

    For symposia submissions, please adhere to word limitations identified in symposium instructions.
    Individual abstracts must contain no more than 300 words.
