Leadership Sessions

Abstracts of translational research, evidence-based clinical and service projects, and leadership initiatives that demonstrate a direct link to the Convention theme Give Back to Move Forward are invited.

Leadership Sessions are designed to enhance leadership talents and skills in a variety of professional situations. Concurrent Sessions will present practice ideas drawn from current knowledge and best practices in leadership. Emphasis will be on practicality, innovation and forward thinking.

  • Leadership Development Models
  • Redesigning Healthcare
  • Workforce Planning

In all categories, we welcome submissions related to genetics/genomics.

Selection Criteria

Submissions will be rated on the following:
  • Significance to nursing practice, education, administration and/or policy making
  • Clarity of description
  • Creativity of presentation format
  • Contribution of context to leadership knowledge and/or practice

  • Abstract (300 words in length).

    Symposium (75 minutes)

    For symposia submissions, please adhere to word limitations identified in symposium instructions.
    Individual abstracts must contain no more than 300 words.
