The creative writing “The Hand You Hold” reflects the holistic care nurses give daily. “The Hand You Hold” follows a nurse providing to a patient emotional support, spiritual support, and compassion. “The Hand You Hold” does not look at the technical side of nursing. But the unspoken support nurses provide to their patients everyday. The readers should come away with an understanding of nursing and nurses will relate to the common experiences we handle everyday.
