From Lecture to Life...Simulation in a Skills Lab

We have just completed a complete revamp of a skills lab using simulation as a core teaching strategy, for a Foundations Course for Junior 1 nursing students. Beginning nursing students gain experience and confidence in acquiring basic nursing skills through practice in a safe environment in the lab utilizing simulation, encompassing technology as well as imagination and creativity.
