Special Session: Meet the Society Editors - Publishing Opportunities and Resources at Sigma Theta Tau International
Learning Objective #1: Identify the unique purpose and focus of each of Sigma Theta Tau International's publications: Journal of Nursing Scholarship, Worldviews on Evidence-Based Nursing, Reflections on Nursing Leadership, and books, including the topics and types of manuscripts being solicited and specific submission guidelines for each of the publications.
Learning Objective #2: Understand the benefits of the online writing course offered by Sigma Theta Tau International, "Becoming a Published Nurse Author: Professional Writing Through Mentoring."
This session is a panel discussion in which each of the editors of the Society's publications will explain the purpose and focus of the publication, describe the types of manuscripts being sought, and describe submission guidelines. There will be an opportunity at the end of the session for attendees to ask the editors questions about their publications. The Society's editor-in-chief will describe the online writing course offered by Sigma Theta Tau International, "Becoming a Published Nurse Author: Professional Writing Through Mentoring" and respond to any questions about the course.
