Special Session: Planned Giving and Estate Planning Supported by the Foundation Board
Learning Objective #1: Know more about planned giving and how it can not only benefit attendees personally but also how it may benefit charities of choice (including honor society chapters and the Sigma Theta Tau International Foundation for Nursing).
Learning Objective #2: Learn more about individual estate planning so that attendees may be knowledgeable about estate-planning options and how to best plan for his or her own financial security.
Andrew Vento, an associate from Indianapolis-based Ice Miller legal and business advisors, will discuss estate planning options and benefits for pre- and post-retirement. Attendees will learn how planned giving assists both donors and charities. Attendees will understand how estate planning may be helpful to his or her chapter, as well as Sigma Theta Tau International.
