With a new governance structure in 2003, The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International, embarked on a journey of a new way of doing the business of the organization. This was facilitated by a flexible new governance structure, a part of which was the addition of advisory councils. Through this transition, there were key lessons learned, and guiding principles that rose to the surface. In this session, the leaders of advisory councils will share the way they approached their work, what lessons they learned, and what guiding principles drove their accomplishments. | |||
