Every nurse manager finds their clinical setting a challenge to maintain an excitement from the daily routine. This presentation will provide a unique look at successful strategies of a nurse manager at Hackensack University Medical Center and the ability to impact positive staff outcomes through a Magnet environment of autonomy and professional development.

This presentation will focus on the successful outcomes through one nurse managers achevivements for retention, clinical advancement and professional development on an Intermediate Care Unit. Through leadership, coaching, mentoring and role modeling, the opportunity to develop professionally from the graduate to experienced nurse will be shared.
