| Learning Objective #1: Identify different approaches for chapter recruitment of nurse leaders from her/his community | |||
| Learning Objective #2: Apply new strategies to increase the number of nurse leader members retained as active members of the chapter | |||
| A panel of chapter leaders will lead a discussion on ideas that have been planned and/or implemented to increase the number of nurse leaders recruited into STTI membership. Strategies for retaining those members will also be shared. Topics planned for the discussion include: * Why a chapter should want more nurse leader candidates; * Where a chapter could find non-member nurse leader candidates; * How a chapter could verify non-member status; * When and how nurse leaders candidates are being inducted; and * What innovative strategies are chapters using to retain their nurse leader members. | |||
