The Effectiveness of Application the Nursing Informatics System in Clinical Nursing Care Plan

The goal of the current study is to improve the effectiveness of nurses in applying a nursing care plan to clinical cases. The subjects were nurses who surveyed patients who had been hospitalized for 8 hours, and also exhibited one or more positive signs for the first five health issues of the nursing care plan. Materials and methods are as follows. First, it is a self-evaluation form of the nursing care plan. Second, it is the evaluation form for the effectiveness of enforcing nursing care plan to clinical cases. Third, it is the evaluation form for the standard education of the nursing informatics system in the nursing care plan. the validity reached 0.9 with Cronbach's alpha at 0.85. Solutions are as follows. First, it is to establish templates of top five nursing care priorities for patients. Second, it is to erect nursing care plans under the operation of the informatics system. Third, it is to establish detailed regulations of the computer operation of the nursing care plan. Fourth, it is to execute educational training to promote knowledge and skills related to executing nursing care plans. Results are as follows. First, correct understanding with regard to the nursing care plan was improved from 69.7% to 94.6%. Second, the effectiveness of executing individual nursing care plans in clinics was improved from 71.2% to 95.2%. Third, the introduction of the informatics system to the nursing care plan produced effectiveness that reached 92.6%. The application of the current project increases the profession of nurses by promoting nurses' knowledge and skills in executing nursing care plans and enhancing the satisfaction of application of the informatics systems in the nursing care plan.
