Leadership at all levels of healthcare delivery must see the need for adequate human resources beyond their organizations' and countries' needs, as disease has no borders. Efforts must be focused on informing and influencing policy and decision-making both locally and globally to create triple-win policies that affect the developing and developed world, as well as healthcare professionals globally.
