SPECIAL SESSION: What Service Role Should Define Sigma Theta Tau International: Service Advisory Council Focus Group
Learning Objective #1: provide input into defining a service role for Sigma Theta Tau, Int.
Learning Objective #2: interact with members from around the globe to achieve culturally relevant recommendations for the Int. Board of Directors.
The Service Advisory Council for Sigma Theta Tau, Int. is charged with developing an issue paper with recommendations to be made to the International Board of Directors, by the end of the bienniel, regarding the service mission of the Society. Should the Society adopt a service brand like some other global organizations do? How should the scholarship focus of the Society be intergrated with a service mission? These are just two of many questions and ideas that will be the focus for this session. Your input will be sought for the committee's consideration and development of the issue paper.
