Learning Objective #2: Identify Sigma Theta Tau strategies for developing nursing leadership
The presenter will describe the objectives, activities, selection criteria, and the format of leadership programs offered by Sigma Theta Tau International. Programs offer structured, mentored opportunities for nurses to develop broad-based leadership skills in the work setting of their own choice, in the areas of geriatric or maternal-child health nursing, and in for-profit and not-for-profit board leadership.
