In order for colleges to be successful in integrating EBP into their academic curricula, a culture that supports EBP must exist. Academic administrators must be on the forefront of this paradigm shift and know what is necessary to fully integrate EBP across a curriculum.  This presentation will discuss the innovative leadership required to achieve a seamless transition from academic learning to clinical application.   The scope of this innovate leadership ranges from fostering the essential elements of a culture of evidence-based practice in academic environments to providing administrative support for mentoring faculty and acquiring resources to facilitate the integration of EBP across educational programs. After attending this session, participants will be able to: a) Discuss the essentials of an academic EBP culture that promotes integrating EBP into curricula, and b) Describe innovative leadership initiatives that promote a seamless transition from academic learning to clinical application.
