Evidence-based practice (EBP) is being touted everywhere as an important aspect of nursing education.  Colleges and schools of nursing are teaching it in different ways, such as one course, one project, one article to support an intervention.  This presentation describes what it takes to effectively integrate EBP across an entire nursing curriculum.   Some basic strategies for getting started are provided, such as a community of practice.  Challenges that may be encountered along this journey and innovative solutions are discussed. After attending this session, participants will be able to a) Discuss basic principles of the EBP process and how to integrate them across courses in a academic nursing program as well as b) Describe common challenges and their solutions that accompany integrating EBP through innovative education.
