Although studies have supported that evidence-based practice (EBP) improves healthcare quality, safety and patient outcomes as well as empowers health professionals to be more autonomous and satisfied in their roles, there are variations in the implementation of EBP in both clinical practice and healthcare settings across the globe. For there to be a more rapid translation of research evidence into clinical practice to improve health outcomes across the globe, there is a need for more regional and global consortiums to advance EBP. This presentation will highlight current initiatives and innovations that are underway to advance EBP in various countries throughout the world.  A thought-provoking vision for the future of EBP across the globe will be highlighted.
