Description/Overview: Sigma Theta Tau International provides online Continuing Nurse Education activities for its members and to advance the nursing profession as a whole. An important component is the participation of course authors, who provide extensive nursing knowledge and subject matter expertise. During this session, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the processes and CNE programs provided by Sigma Theta Tau International. Participants will have the opportunity to see a course demonstration and speak with the online CNE development staff, and determine if they would like to become involved in course authoring.
Learner Objective #1: Understand the goals and processes Sigma Theta Tau International utilizes for online Continuing Nurse Education.
Learner Objective #2: Provide information and guidance for participants to develop effective online Continuing Nurse Education course materials.
