Description/Overview: The session will provide an overview of the chapter development process and highlight the different models of chapter formation. Information on the benefits of having a chapter will also be presented. The related topic of amending an existing chapter’s charter to include other schools of nursing will also be discussed. Representatives will be on hand to answer specific questions about the process and how it applies to various nursing education systems.
Learner Objective #1: The learner will be able to articulate the requirements to form a chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International.
Learner Objective #2: The learner will be able to seek clarification of issues around the chapter development and amendment processes.
