I 01 SPECIAL SESSION: Nursing Ethics Education: Cultivating Professionally Responsible Actions in Practice, Research, and Policy

Description/Overview: To discuss the status of nursing ethics education and the relationship of ethics to nursing purposes at all levels of concern: the individual, society, or global. This presentation will be of of interest to any nurse, nurse educator, or researcher who is concerned with development of the knowledge needed for ethical nursing practice, education, research and policy influence. It will be of interest to all professional nurses regardless of nationality or practice/research setting.
Learner Objective #1: Articulate the link between professional nursing goals and nursing ethics.
