Methods: This was a descriptive study. Nine items from CAHPS Hospital Survey (Consumer Assessment of Health Provider and Systems Hospital Survey) related to nursing care were chosen for evaluating the quality of nursing care in a
Results: Internal consistency of this questionnaire was .89 (Cronbach's α). Factor analysis indicated that all nine items formed a factor which explained 72.49% of the variance. Factor loading for each item were above .40.
Conclusion: The reliability and validity of the Chinese version of Inpatient’s satisfaction with Nursing Care questionnaire were established. This questionnaire can be used to evaluate the quality of nursing care for patients with hospitalization nationwide.
