Description/Overview: This presentation will provide an overview of the process being used by the 2009-2011 STTI Leadership Succession Committee to identify and develop potential candidates for board, officer, and committee positions on the 2011-2013 ballot. An overview will be provided of open positions, the responsibilities and time commitment typically inherent in those positions, and the process candidates should follow to be considered for inclusion on the ballot. Myths about the candidacy and election process will be addressed. Time will be allotted for questions and answers.
Learner Objective #1: Identify positions that will be open on the 2011-2013 STTI ballot including officer and non-officer positions on the Board of Directors and elected committees.
