Description/Overview: This event will define improvement science; explain the need and context for improvement science research; summarize challenges inherent in improvement science and health care improvement; and showcase how the Improvement Science Research Network addresses these challenges.
Learner Objective #1: Explore convergence of the multiple paradigms of improvement science, implementation science, and translational science.
Learner Objective #2: Describe the advantages of a national network for improvement science.
