K 04 SPECIAL SESSION: Development and Testing of a Cardiovascular Assessment Curriculum Model for Basic to Advanced Practice Nurses

Description/Overview: This session will focus on defining a deliberative practice curriculum and discussing a multi-site study done with APRNs to teach cardiovascular assessment and technique. The outcomes of and nursing implications for the deliberative practice curriculum study will also be discussed.
Learner Objective #1: Define a deliberative practice curriculum; describe outcomes and discuss nursing implications for use of the deliberative practice curriculum.
Learner Objective #2: Discuss a multi-site study done with APRNs to teach cardiovascular assessment and technique.
