Description/Overview: Since 1981 STTI has focused on growing the organization to be global in nature. The purpose of this session is to provide an overview of Vision 2020, demonstrate how the 2011-3013 Presidential Call supports Vision 2020 and to share the initiatives taken by the organization in achieving the four goals, i.e. a valued, relevant and meaningful organization; intentionally global; a thought leader in creating and sharing knowledge and in leadership development; and a knowledge-focused, technology-enabled organization.
Learner Objective #1: Identify and describe the initiatives taken to ensure the achievement of the four goals of Vision 2020.
Learner Objective #2: Discuss possible strategies members can take to facilitate a regional and local response to Vision 2020 and the 2011-2013 Presidential Call.
