Description/Overview: This session will be participatory and enable those attending to ask specific questions of the editors of Worldviews on Evidence-Based Nursing and the Journal of Nursing Scholarship about writing and getting published. The broad issues that will be covered include: - getting started in the writing process - the publication process - how to respond to peer reviews - ethics of publication.
Learner Objective #1: know how and why to submit a manuscript to Worldviews on Evidence-Based Nursing and the Journal of Nursing Scholarship.
Learner Objective #2: develop a better understanding of the writing and publishing process.
