Learning Objective 1: The student will be able to know the attitudes of nurses on the results of the research.

Learning Objective 2: The student will be able to know the major barriers to the implementation of the research in clinical practice

Purpose:

In recent years, empowerment and momentum that has made professional nursing, is derived from the incorporation of evidence into clinical practice, not being evidence delegated by medicine, but the practice that promotes evidence based nursing.

This new approach requires prior knowledge of the attitude with which the profeionales of nursing welcome the evidence-based practice by providing the right tools to address barriers.

Methods:

To achieve the objectives of this study is a review inclusive of scientific literature. Articles were selected from Medline, Cochrane and Scopus. The limit was 3 years temporary. The used languages, English and Spanish; only in humans. The articles included were clinical trial, meta-analysis, systematic reviews, guidline practice.

Nursing, evidence-based practice, evidence-based nursing and attitude were used as search descriptors.

Results:

Of the 423 items found in medline, which responded to the descriptors and limits indicated, realized a subsequent reading, by pairs, in abstract. 377 Articles were discarded, keeping to the study a total of 46 items. 31 Systematic reviews located in Cochrane who attended to the selection criteria and after reading the abstract all were discarded. After search in Scopus, only 4 articles that were moved to the boundaries defined by the methodology and will select a single article.

Conclusion:

On the one hand, following the review and approach to all selected publications, it was concluded that open this nursing staff and willingly welcomes the evidence-based practice. On the other hand, is limited by institutional and cultural barriers in order to carry out a correct nursing evidence-based implementation. It would seem appropriate to conduct a study on the attitudes of the professionals in our midst.
