Summary
Environments differ dramatically across neighborhoods, with low-income and racial/ethnic minority neighborhoods often having fewer resources. Identifying features of the environment that affect health and alter intervention effectiveness is important to inform policy and programmatic solutions. This presentation will share evidence on relationships among neighborhood environments, program effectiveness, and obesity risk.
