This presentation explores the living conditions and health problems in Vietnam today from a nursing perspective. Through the use of multimedia, the cultural beliefs and customs of the vietnamese and their impact on nursing and health care will be explored. A personal account of a field research project in the Mekong will be presented, including witnessing a rural birth.This presentation will use both video and internet.
