Abstract: Title:Educators nurses attitude toward nursing research Recognition of nursing as a profession has been delayed due to the absence of a theoretical basis for practice . The importance given to the development of this knowledge base varies among nurses and has been related to such factors as educational preparation and perceived supports for nursing research activities .a resocialization of many nurses may be necessary before a positive value is assigned to efforts by members of the profession to develop a theoretical base these efforts necessary include research activities to initiate this process of resocialization /the evaluation of attitude/value/ and educational preparation of nurse for nursing research is necessary .the purpose of this study was to do such an evaluation among nurse educators at faculties of Tehran city A questionnaire was developed which in corporated the booth attitude on nursing research scale .statical analysis data were completed .findings indicated that many nurses were interested in research and believed that institution would support research activities and the implementation of research findings.some deterrences to conducting research included :time/lake of knowledge and the nurses s perception of the supervisory support service.by the results of this study educational research course and research finding involment significantly related to attitude toward research.
