Jane G. Dresser, APRN-BC, Professional Roles and Mental Health Nursing, College of Nursing - East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, TN, USA

When atrocities continued to occur, consent moved from a moral and ethical imperative to a legal mandate. This section of the symposium will explore this evolutionary process.
