This focused discussion will address the challenges inherent in the teaching of evidence-based practice (EBP) at both the undergraduate and graduate levels of nursing education. The importance of EBP, the current state of the art in teaching EBPand problems encountered in teaching EBP will be discussed with the goal of identifying new pedagogical methods . Of primary importance is the issue of how faculty can socialize students into EBP so that the practice is carried over into the workplace. . | |||
