Evidenced-based practices (EBPs) are associated with improved patient, healthcare facility, and professional outcomes.  Therefore, development and implementation of EBP systems must be supported by programs of capable of measuring and managing EBP outcomes.  This session presents an EBP Outcomes Model and details the implementation cycle associated with capturing the impact of establishing an EBP culture within a healthcare setting. Participants are provided with tangible examples of structure and implementation methods, as well as use of outcomes data to promote acceptance of change and discovery of gaps in knowledge that may be supported by research.
