Learning Objective #1: The learner will be able to describe a national nursing initiative to help nurses meet the challenge of the Informatics Revolution.
Learning Objective #2: The learner will be able to identify resources for support to successfully integrate evidence and infrmatics into current education and practice settings.

This session will describe the TIGER Intitiative (Technology Guiding Education Reform). The presenters will share how national leaders and advocates have worked together to catalyze a dynamic, sustainable, and productive relationship between the Alliance for Nursing Informatics (ANI), representing 20 nursing informatics professional societies, and the major nursing professional organiations, including Sigma Theta Tau International, that collectively represent more than 2,000,000 nurses. The session will include a recent invitation-only TIGER Summit, the 10-Year Vision, 3-Year Action Plans developed. The TIGER Diffustion and Measurement Methodology will be discussed with an updated progress of action plans toward the vision.
