Partnerships in global health are important to the advancement of healthcare and building nursing capacity. Nursing has been a pioneer in establishing alliances and working with hospitals and other healthcare organizations including schools of nursing to improve healthcare outcomes. Sigma Theta Tau International and its member play a pivotal role in fostering productive and innovative partnerships in global health through leadership initiatives and new models. This program will provide a framework for nurses to use in establishing interdisciplinary partnerships and alliances to advance global health.
