CHAPTER LEADER SESSION: Mentoring for the Future
Learning Objective #1: Define three characteristics of mentoring relationships and discuss how to initiate a chapter mentoring committee.
Learning Objective #2: Formulate two successful strategies for chapter succession planning.
During this session, participants will review and discuss the theoretical components of the mentoring processes and develop plans for initiating a chapter mentoring committee. In addition, participants will review STTI resources for mentoring, such as Chiron, Omada and the "Wisdom Council". Elements of succession planning and leadership development will also be considered as chapter plans are developed.
