SPECIAL SESSION: Dreyfus Health Foundation's Global Nursing Program: "Problem Solving for Better Health-Nursing"
Learning Objective #1: The learner will be able to understand the Problem Solving for Better Health Nursing methodology and its practical application implemented in 14 countries.
Learning Objective #2: The learner will be able to identify successful nursing project examples implemented globally; including those that have led to changes in education and hospital policy.
This presentation will describe the PSBH-N program including its historic development and mission. Several program approaches from various countries will be highlighted. The PSBH-N step by step methodology will be explained with its emphasis on optimizing the use of available resources to implement project activities. Methods of evaluation will be discussed in relation to the successful execution of sustainable and replicable nurse-led project examples from various countries.
