The quasi-experimental study of impact of integration of EBP on students' beliefs about and implementation of EBP was two-pronged.  The first prong was to engage course faculty in numerous learning opportunities to enhance their knowledge of EBP and how to apply that knowledge in their courses. The second prong was to change the courses across the BSN curriculum to reflect integration of EBP.  The expected outcome was to produce evidence users who actively practice the EBP paradigm, particularly after graduation. This presentation will focus on a description of the intervention and the measurement of student outcomes who participated in the study, including evaluation of students' beliefs about the value of EBP, their ability to implement EBP, and actual behaviors reflecting EBP assimilation.
  • Identify strategies that facilitate integration of EBP across an undergraduate curriculum.
  • Describe strategies for measuring student assimilation of the EBP paradigm.
