Learning Objective 1: Participants will understand the value of using art in student learning activities. Art can encourage creative thinking, knowledge development, understanding, and create meaning for experiences.

Learning Objective 2: Participants will recognize that creating art can be used as a type of reflection useful in the learning environment. Through the use of art in learning, students reflect on experiences; this reflection supports a deeper learning and expression of meaning in various forms.
