Learning Objective 1: The learner will be able to identify the WHO millineal goals related to nursing recruitment and retention in developing countries.

Learning Objective 2: The learner will be able to identify that the image of nursing in Ecuador is negative in the context of culture and that nurses and nursing students are often at conflict between their desire to be a nusre and the desires of the family.
