This session will explore the implementation and impact of programs developed by faculty that have assisted in improving professional licensing pass rates and how alumni surveys provided feedback to inform program success. How data impact decision-making and inform curricular decisions will be shared. An illustration of how the assessment plan is linked to accreditation standards and is aligned to the academic institution’s and program’s mission, goals, and program outcomes will be described. The importance of engaging faculty in this collaborative process was essential to developing the new assessment process and in closing the loop that would determine student and/or program success and/or weaknesses. Refocusing and realigning outcomes and creating a comprehensive assessment plan developed by faculty to meet the program’s mission, goals, and expected outcomes helped to identify best practices and program success.
