Description/Overview: This session will provide an overview of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International and Chamberlain College of Nursing Center for Excellence in Nursing Education that was recently launched. The four goals of the Center will be discussed: 1.) provide career and leadership development for nurse educators; 2.) develop and deliver resources and events related to excellence in nursing education; 3.) develop and implement an Emerging Educational Administrator Program for Department Chair/Program Directors; and 4.) develop strategies and programs to assess current status and positively promote nursing education globally. Attendees will learn about each of the programs and initiatives that fall under these goals.
