Description/Overview: This interactive session will give new, experienced or potential book authors a first-hand look at how a book goes from idea to published text including how to craft an idea into a book proposal that publishers will notice. Wilmeth, STTI’s publisher and experience with trade, professional and academic publishing groups, will describe the content creation process and help attendees learn the elements of an effective proposal and discussing practical tools for working with publishers, editors, marketers, and more. Time will be allowed to answer questions from attendees.
