Learning Objective #1: Discuss the significance of continuing educational activity.
Learning Objective #2: Discuss the changes in practice behaviors of participants after attending a continuing education programme.

Continuing education updates skills and knowledge of the nursing personnel. With the ever increasing complexity of the work setting and new demands placed on the nurses make it absolutely essential for nurses to stay relevant and up t o date. The purpose of this outcomes study was to explore whether participants made a difference in their clinical knowledge and practice about ECG tracing & interpretation, Arterial blood gases interpretation and Fluids & Electrolytes imbalance interpretation after participating in 03 days CE activity. Pre  & Post test results and Brazen’s ”Program Follow up Evaluation Tool” were used for  data collection and data analysis was done by using frequency and percentages of nurses’ correct response in Pre & Post test and descriptive analysis of each item of the program follow up evaluation. 26 attendees and 11 Clinical Nurse Teachers participated. Data analysis shows that knowledge and practices changed as a result of attending the programme. As a result of participating in CE activity, nurses can evaluate changes in their knowledge behavior, skills behavior, and attitudes. If these changes are carried over in to practice settings they may cause positive outcomes.
